Course Description:
Learn “Simple Microsoft Excel Data Analysis” using law-enforcement-related scenarios. This course will provide data analysis knowledge of Excel using law enforcement-related topics. This class is the first in a series of Excel classes designed for law enforcement.
EXCEL-101 Objectives:

Create spreadsheets to manage, organize, and analyze data.

Learn common ribbon and math functions.

Learn data visualization tools (e.g., tables and graphs.

Use the Data Validation feature to create restricted data entry lists to increase productivity and decrease data entry errors.

Use Sort and Filters to organize and view data.
-
Use the Auto Fill function to limit manual data entry.

Learn different Printing Options.
-
By the end of the webinar, you will know how to use the most common Excel ribbon and math functions. As well as how to use Tables, Filters, Data Validation, and Print Options, to increase productivity and decrease data entry errors.
This webinar is hands-on. An Excel template and step-by-step written instructions for all class exercises. The computer used during class must have a camera and microphone for WebEx. Participants should have Excel 2016 or higher installed on their computers.

Description:
Here is a little help getting connected:
When you click ‘Join Meeting’ in your email, it will open a page to engage in the meeting.
If you don’t have Webex installed, it will automatically download the file. You can click and install the file if you have permission to do so on your computer. This will give you the best viewing experience with the class.
If you wish to download the app and pre-install it, you can click here. Choose Webex Meetings and follow the installation prompts.
If you do have the software pre-installed, the web browser will detect it and ask if you want to open the meeting in the software. Click ‘Open Cisco Webex Start’ to get into the meeting.
If you cannot install or utilize the software, you can click on ‘Join from your browser’ and it will open the meeting.
It will prompt you for permission to access your camera and microphone. You will need to allow this to participate in the meeting.
You can then enter your name and email address and click ‘Next’ to join the meeting.
When you connect, you can control your microphone and video status from the bar at the bottom of the screen. While in the meeting, you can get the speaker’s attention by clicking on the button with the three vertical dots and selecting ‘Raise Hand’. By clicking on the middle button (person symbol) you can see the other participants in the session. You can also message the presenter or attendees during the session using the chat bubble (blue) as well.
Please mute your microphone when you connect. You can un-mute it when you have a question.
