The Training Section of the Gwinnett County Police Department is a certified police academy that provides comprehensive training for law enforcement officers. Divided into four units, the center offers courses in basic training, driver training, firearms training, and in-service/civilian training. With a team of certified instructors, the center ensures high-quality education and adheres to rigorous standards set by the Georgia Peace Officers Standards and Training. While not accessible to the general public, the center welcomes outside law enforcement agencies for specific training purposes.
